Volume

Another way to measure the size of a planet is to look at its volume - how much space it takes up. Again, we'll use the Earth to measure by. Take a look at the table below.

We can see that if Jupiter were hollow, you could fit over 1400 Earths inside of it! Notice that some of the planets are smaller than the Earth; you could fit only a fraction of the Earth inside of them.
